Warranty and Repair Information for Littmann® Stethoscopes through the 3M Health Care Service Center:

Except in cases of obvious abuse or accidental damage, or if a material or manufacturing defect is discovered during the warranty period, repairs will be made without charge upon return of the instrument to 3M. Otherwise the warranty periods are as listed.

The Littmann® Master Cardiology stethoscope is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of seven years from the date of purchase.
The Littmann® Cardiology III and Cardiology II S.E. stethoscopes are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of purchase.
The Littmann® Master Classic II, Classic II SE, Classic II Pediatric, Classic II Infant, and all specialty stethoscopes (Littmann Teaching and Anesthescope), are warranted against any defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of purchase.
The Littmann® Select and Lightweight stethoscopes are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

The 3M Health Care Service Center is dedicated to providing you with prompt and efficient service:

The 3M Health Care Service Center provides FREE repair and service for Littmann Stethoscopes while under warranty.
For Littmann stethoscopes no longer under warranty, refurbishment and cleaning services are available for a charge.* Your refurbished stethoscope will carry a two year warranty. (90 days for the Lightweight and Select models.) **
Your Littmann stethoscope will be promptly serviced within 24 hours of its arrival at the 3M Health Care Service Center, then shipped back to you via UPS at our expense.

How to send your stethoscope in for repair:

Write a note explaining the repair or service you require, the approximate date you purchased your Littmann stethoscope, and your name, street address and phone number. Include it with your stethoscope.
If your stethoscope is no longer under warranty, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted. Please include your account number and expiration date.
Package your stethoscope and send it via a traceable courier.
